Ruth Edy, Lay Preacher, was given a New Testament 60 years ago to mark the Queen’s coronation. She will be taking her 60 year old New Testament to show the Ducklington school children at their celebration assembly. Ruth will explain that the Bible was described as ‘the most valuable thing this world affords’ when it was presented to the Queen at the coronation.  Read more about Ruth and her testatment and helping to make Jubilee memories here.

The following week we celebrated Fritillary Sunday and were joined by Roly Bain, the ordained fool, (he won’t mind me saying that I think!) and he gave us ministry, entertainment and food for thought all at the same time.  You can find out more about Roly and his ministry here.
