Lentfeed

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent, as the days lengthen into spring. This is the season when we may choose to find for the first time, or rediscover afresh, the cleansing power of reflection and self-examination to strengthen and encourage us in our daily walk with God. Lent provides an opportunity to renew our relationship with God and one another by seeking to strip away the distractions which clutter our minds and our hearts, distorting our view of God and those he has made in his own image. May we encourage one another to re-engage with God through a regular pattern of prayer and study, either on our own or by meeting with a group, as we prepare to explore again the mystery of Jesus’ death and celebrate the glory of his resurrection at Easter.
