Whilst the Covid-19 virus has, at times in the past, shut the physical church building for services, St Bartholomew’s is still here as your church – serving you, and being with you, as part of this church family. Harnessing technology, we are able to provide virtual services and a time for prayer and reflection.
Now that we are fully re-open for congregational worship you are very welcome to join us but, for now, we are still also Zooming our Sunday morning services. Below is a list of future services and events which are in the physical building but also shared via Zoom. It depends what lockdown or tier we are in at the relevant time.
The PCC have recently (July 2021) updated their protocols for those in the church building:-
- It has been agreed by the PCC that for safety reasons we will continue to ask people to wear masks, use hand sanitizer, social distance and not have any communal singing. We will continue with the singing group.
- Holy Communion will be offered in one kind only. The PCC decided that wafers will be used and only the celebrant will take the wine. The congregation will be asked to receive from the dais. A service warden will usher people at the appropriate time.
