About Reverend Bob Edy: Bob was ordained (in mid-life!) in 1993 and appointed vicar of Ducklington in 1999. He was formally inducted as Rector of the parish in November 2013. From 1979 to 2008 he worked at Henry Box School as head of History, Head of Year and then Deputy Head. He is married to Ruth, father to Rhoda and Charlotte and grandfather to Esther, Benjy, Gemma and Isaac. Bob enjoys sport, particularly golf and cricket, and is very enthusiastic about the annual Greenbelt Festival. He enjoys discussing faith issues with individuals and small groups and feels that being a vicar is an enormous privilege - and quite hard work too! Bob left St Bartholomew's, in May 2015, for a slightly quieter life as Chaplain at Rendcomb College. We hope to welcome him back at a later date as a "guest" preacher.
