Harvest Festival

Harvest Festival Services are planned for October 4 with 10:30 celebration in church and on Zoom, with 6 p.m. evening communion. Please bring produce to dress the church at 9:30 on Saturday 3 October. Offerings will be taken to the Besom Charity

Food Bank – can you donate?

Witney and West Oxfordshire Food bank   is now open to distribute food to the needy, but please, kindly give your donations via the supermarkets (most have collection points). At the moment they are specially asking for donations of toothpaste and toothbrushes

Bishop of Dorchester – a new appointment

  Bishop Colin will retire in November having served with great distinction as our Area Bishop. The diocese has received approval from the Dioceses Commission to move ahead and appoint the next Bishop of Dorchester. Please would you keep this appointment in your prayers in the coming months, both privately and publicly.

Can you contribute to the Food Bank?

The Food bank is short of the following items: Fruit juice, cold meat products, gravy, tomato sauce, coffee, hot chocolate. Toiletries, especially shampoo, deodorants, toothpaste and toothbrushes. If everyone could manage to regularly bring one item a month we would make significant difference to those less fortunate in Witney.
