{"id":23159,"date":"2022-09-25T14:55:42","date_gmt":"2022-09-25T13:55:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ducklingtonchurch.org.uk\/?post_type=ctc_sermon&#038;p=23159"},"modified":"2022-10-02T15:18:09","modified_gmt":"2022-10-02T14:18:09","slug":"23159","status":"publish","type":"ctc_sermon","link":"https:\/\/www.ducklingtonchurch.org.uk\/?ctc_sermon=23159","title":{"rendered":"Let this place be overflowing with compassion!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><u>Gospel<\/u><\/strong><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/strong><strong>Luke 16.19\u201331<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&nbsp;<\/em><em>Hear the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to Luke<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><sup>19<\/sup>&nbsp;\u2018There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day.&nbsp;<sup>20<\/sup>And at his gate lay a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores,&nbsp;<sup>21<\/sup>who longed to satisfy his hunger with what fell from the rich man\u2019s table; even the dogs would come and lick his sores.&nbsp;<sup>22<\/sup>The poor man died and was carried away by the angels to be with Abraham.
