HOW WELL DO YOU KNOW YOUR CHANCEL FROM YOUR CHANCELLOR?
The Church of England has a long and complex history, the institution we know today being shaped by its past as well as our contemporary world. In this course
you will explore some of this fascinating history and current context, helping us better understand the Church of England’s unique DNA and its place in society and the wider Anglican Communion today. It is open to anyone interested, but will be particularly helpful for those exploring their vocation and wanting to understand something more of the ‘bigger picture’ beyond the parish. This is an online course and the material will be available through the month of June, with videos and
guided reading to work through in your own time. There will be interaction with a tutor through online forums and also the opportunity for a Zoom tutorial
during the course.
You will work on learning materials in our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), Moodle. You will need to be set up on Moodle to access the course.
VLE joining instructions will be issued upon booking through Eventbrite.
The course will be available from 1–30 June.
