Amanda Bennett

I have lived in Ducklington for 35 years – 30 years longer than we thought we would!
I taught in the Reception class in our village school for several years.  I was also the co-ordinator for music and supporting children with additional needs across the school. I served on the Governing body as a Parent Governor for several years.
Another 20 years of my teaching career was spent at St. Mary’s Infants school in Witney.
My main interest is music. I teach piano, sing in the local Voicebox choir and am the rehearsal accompanist for Eynsham Choral Society. I have helped with the music at St. Bartholemew’s since arriving in the village; I remember playing the old 2 manual organ before it had to be taken out of the church for restoration.
I have 3 grand-children and love opportunities to spend time with them. I enjoy gardening, walking and knitting.
