Sue is the Adminstrator but was also elected as PCC Secretary until the APCM 2025
In 2016 after 11 years, I retired from my job as a Financial Administrator at a Grammar School on the borders of South London and Kent. I moved into a “new build” house in Ducklington at the end of September 2018 to be nearer my sister who lives in Kidlington. After about 4 weeks I ventured into St.Bartholomew’s Church and was warmly greeted by everyone. Eventually I was confirmed in December 2020 and took on more admin roles for the church.
My previous “career” was in hospitality starting as an hotel receptionist in the early 1970’s progressing to be a Financial Controller. I worked in four different hotels over 32 years before being made redundant. Luckily I was never out of work and after a stint at a local company making plastic bottles for the oil industry, moved to the school.
My main hobbies are walking, I’ve been a member of the Ramblers Association for 36 years, and swimming. I’m also a member of the local WI, Brize Singers and the Hand Bell ringing team and singing group at the church.
