Remembrance Sunday

Our “outside broadcast”, to ZOOM world, from the War Memorial worked well today and we were able to participate in the moving service alongside those walkers in the village who had passed by at the same time.

Bette and Bobby had prepared a beautiful wreath, placed on the font in church, from where Paul was able to broadcast parts of the service utilising the now installed broadband connection – and it kept going unlike our 4g connection over the last few weeks!

We welcomed back over 40 participants to the service via zoom; not a step back but a return to a comfortable and familiar setting that so many of us have become accustomed to.   The aim is to broadcast from the church so that we have the best of both worlds until our worlds become a little closer to one another again.
