Thank you for the cards, well wishes, phone calls, e-mails and a visit during this severe bout of cellulitis in my left leg. I do intend to resume my musical service to the Church next Sunday (17th January) despite the leg still being dressed which prevents me from driving. Maggie is kindly acting as my driver!! Can we encourage you to use the village car park (next to the school) if at all possible? Despite the new bollards near the footpath on the north side of the church (next to the pond), access is still being blocked making it almost impossible for those trying to manoeuvre bikes, pushchairs, mobility scooters etc.car cover xk8SimPal

Do you have good office administration skills and are you able to work flexibly and independently from home for approximately 20 hours a month?  We need an administrator to manage service rotas in our churches, the administration of weddings, baptisms and funerals and assist the clergy with paying fees and ensuring payments are processed. Coffee Morning – many thanks to June Allen for her coffee morning last Saturday in aid of church funds which raised in excess of £140.  Thanks June!

Rev’d Paul Boddam-Whetham will be joining us in February 2016 together with his wife Nicci.  They join us from their current parish of St Albans where Paul has been serving his curacy.  The Institution and Induction service will be held on February 8th; further details will be confirmed in due course.
