An update from the PGS:
The new Parish Giving Scheme platform is live – thank you for being part of our journey!
Dear Giver,
We’re thrilled to let you know that the new Parish Giving Scheme digital giving platform is now live and ready to use!
This marks the successful completion of a major digital transformation project, and we couldn’t have done it without your continued generosity, patience and support.
Thank you for your understanding and for being an important part of this journey.
What’s new?
Our refreshed platform brings enhanced security, a more user-friendly experience, and improved infrastructure to support giving across thousands of churches. We’ve partnered with GoCardless to process Direct Debit gifts, offering even greater protection against fraud and ensuring a robust, reliable service.
Our refreshed website has the familiar look and feel you know, but with smoother navigation and better functionality. We’ve also introduced multi-factor authentication (MFA), and your giver portal now includes access to features like tax-year reports.
Direct Debit update
Earlier this week, I wrote to you to let you know you may receive a message from your bank about a new Direct Debit set up under the name ‘PGS’. This was simply just a part of the digital transformation process. We understand that the unfamiliar name may have prompted some concerns, but please be assured this is a genuine part of the planned improvements. Your gift will continue as normal, and the first collection is due on 3 November. The collection date remains the first working day of each month.
If you think you may have cancelled your Direct Debit by mistake, don’t worry! Get in touch via the phone number or email below and one of the team will be happy to get you set up again.
What you need to do
When you next log in to the platform, you’ll be prompted to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA). This quick step adds extra protection to your account. To activate your account, please visit the website and click on ‘log in’ and then select ‘activate account’. You’ll be prompted to enter your details, and a confirmation email will be sent to you. Simply click the link in that email to complete the activation. You will then be asked to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA). You will notice that we are using an authentication service from ‘tkos.co.uk’ which ensures your credentials are encrypted and provides the MFA security for your account.
The attached PGS MFA Guide walks you through every step.
Once set up, you’ll be able to explore the improved platform and its new features. To help you get started, we’ve created two short videos:

Thank you
The PGS team is truly grateful for your support during this transformation. The changes we’ve implemented ensure that PGS is ready for the future and we can continue to advance regular giving in every church.
