I would like to say what a great day we had with the basket stall. Weather was good and the very large attendance was brilliant. We made a very nice amount of money for St Bartholomews church fund. I would also like to express my appreciation for all the donations and help I received, both before and on the day , also with setting up and taking down many thanks everyone.; Special thanks to Adey who was a great help and support. A great time was had by all on Bank Holiday Monday at the Village Flower and Produce Show. A whopping £1,543.43 was raised for the General Fund – this is the amount after expenses. Thanks so much to all who did so much work, not just on the day, but preparing beforehand especially with the “new” stall this year of Tombola baskets.
