Ian and Linda Paul will be moving on Wednesday 18 November to Hornton . They will continue to worship as part of the St. Bartholomew’s family either on Zoom or in person (as conditions allow). We wish them well with the move.

We shall be posting Christmas Cards through every door in the village advising about the services we will be holding, and inviting families to follow a Star Trek leading to discovering Jesus in the manger. Our “outside broadcast”, to ZOOM world, from the War Memorial worked well today and we were able to participate in the moving service alongside those walkers in the village who had passed by at the same time. Bette and Bobby had prepared a beautiful wreath, placed on the font in church, from where Paul was able to broadcast parts of the service…
“Living is Christ, Dying is Gain” is a four-session course based on Bishop Steven’s reflections on the book of Philippians. The study booklets are available from the Rectory as we plan to hold this course on Wednesday evening 4, 11, 18 and 25 November. At 7:30 p.m. These will be on ZOOM and its not too late to join! The booklets cost £2.50.
