Diocese of Oxford

Witney Deanery Pilgrimage 2022

The inaugural walking of the Witney Deanery Pilgrimage will begin from St Mary the Virgin, Witney at 12.00 noon on Sunday 12th June and end at the same church with an Evensong at 6.00pm on Sunday 19th June at which Bishop Gavin will preach.

The Pilgrimage will visit all the Church of England churches in the Deanery. The hope is that the Pilgrimage will enhance the unity of the Deanery and also offer a stimulus towards churches becoming more contemplative, in line with one of the aims of the Diocese.
