Diocese of Oxford

Can you offer accommodation for Ukranian refugees?

Over 200 Ukrainians matched

Back in March, the diocese pledged to resettle 50 refugees, and within just one week almost 400 people had been in touch to offer their support. Now, over 200 adults and children have been matched and are settling in or well on their way to around 80 homes across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

The next step is setting up Communities for Ukraine Deanery Leads – a local point of contact for hosts, guests and helpers. Read the full update from Hannah Ling, Social Justice Adviser.

There are still over 200 Ukrainians looking to settle within the diocese. Every offer of accommodation we get makes it more likely we’ll find a suitable home for each of them. Register your interest and look out for the follow-up email.
