Our Wildflower Area

During lockdown, the church decided to let half of the churchyard go wild.  Although it was ancient turf, the flower count was poor so Robin Wiltshire, with the help of others, set about sowing wildflower seed at home and planted them out once the grass had been cut at the end of the season.  This beautiful area winds gently from the pathway near the north door and meanders gradually to the south door.  Why not take a stroll, rest awhile in the seating area, glory in the beauty of nature – God’s gift for us all.
