Our consultation on the next Bishop of Oxford
With thanks to everyone who completed our consultation survey, we have had 2,743 responses to our questions about the needs of the diocese and how the next Bishop of Oxford might best meet them. The consultation has now closed.
As part of their consultations to inform the Crown Nominations Commission, the Appointments Secretaries to the Archbishops and Prime Minister have asked us to arrange an online open meeting at which they can hear views from any member of the diocese who would like to attend.
This will be on 19 March at 6pm on Zoom. If you would like to attend this, registration is now open.
We have a wealth of rich and considered material from the consultation process to inform the Statement of Needs and are grateful to everyone who took the time to contribute.
We now enter the analysis phase to pull all the material together for the Vacancy-in-See Committee to consider later this month.
