Reflecting on the issue on BBC Radio Oxford at the weekend, Oxford Diocesan Board of Finance Vice-Chair Julie Dziegiel said: “There has been a lot of hurt and pain throughout the whole of this process. It is most acute in our LBGTQIA+ plus members, but also among those – and I count myself among them – that would support their position. That has to be deeply regretted and lamented.”
