A message from the Events Committee

I hope most people are aware of this year’s event.
For those who are not, this is St Bartholomew’s major fundraising event of the year and a special event for the whole community. The Fritillary Field is open to the public on just one day a year.  On that day visitors can walk though the field, close to the fritillary flowers in full bloom.  The church is open to visitors and lunches and other refreshments are available in the Village Hall. Other activities include a fritillary themed Prize Draw, musical performances in the church, Morris Dancing, an Art Display, craft activities for all and a plant stall.
Putting together this event requires a lot of help. Can you help please?
• Donations of plants
• Donations of cakes and large sausage rolls
• Purchase and sale of Prize Draw tickets
• Helpers to serve refreshments – please see Jane Nichols
• Helpers to set up at 8.30 and clear up at 4.30

Please see the various rotas or speak to Alison Schoeman or Jenny Pratley for more information.
Many thanks.
