Mothers’ Union work with hospitals

The Mothers’  Union in the Diocese collects items for parents who stay with children in the JR in Oxford; these are often very sick children from quite a distance.  We collect shower gel, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes & paste; also new magazines, tea bags and sachets of coffee, hot chocolate and malted drinks; small packets of 2-3 biscuits, cleaning materials and washing powder. …

New Churchyard entrance – thanks!

Grateful thanks to Peter Cocks for arranging for Smiths to provide the stone as part of their community programme, to make the entrance better draining. Peter also dug out the existing ground and laid the reinforced mesh. Thank you, Peter for a great job tidying up the entrance to our churchyard
