In 2024 we received a very generous donation to replace the interior parts of the noticeboards in the north and south areas of the churchyard. They needed replacing as the service times, names etc had changed and they were becoming a little the worse for wear!
Both boards had originally been donated by the Luce family some years ago and we were keen not to forget that fact.
The Witney Shed have now completed the “re-vamp” of the boards and have created, free of charge, new frames and duly painted them too. Only the cost of materials were charged. They have also restored the original donation plaque.
The Witney Shed was introduced to us at the suggestion of Andrew Coles; they meet weekly at Ceewood Hall in Witney. Open 11am-4pm every Monday & Tuesday. Learn new skills, paint a bird box, enjoy a cuppa, new friends
